Now I Know What Tesco Is, For Better Or Worse

I buy all my groceries from Tesco, a very cheap big-box grocery store, the kind of place I studiously avoided in America. But when you have to divide your savings in two and then try to live off of them, you sacrifice certain self-righteous luxuries.

One nice thing about Tesco is that I now understand the Franz Ferdinand line, "Well, who gives a damn about the profits of Tesco?". As cool as this is, it doesn't make up for having been in Tesco and hearing an elevator music version of "Elanor Put Your Boots Back On".
