Error Function Furniture!
This picture
from my research prompted a good idea for furniture based on the numerical errors from different econometric data sets and estimation methods. This one is the absolute difference between an empirical and true cdf of a binary bivariate probit model, using an least-squares quadratic approximation of the empirical cdf to get the derivatives. (The jargon is part of the fun, you see -- it would say this on a tag on the chair somewhere.) It would be like beanie babies -- you could collect chairs from all the different famous panel data sets, or from different numerical methods. And what a conversation starter at parties! You could cleverly remark to your guests, as you serve the creme brulee, that they are sitting on University of Michingan income data noise, for example!
If I had enough money, I would certainly buy a set.

Have you considered picking up a hobby?
I have a hobby! It's awesome ideas!
I wouldn't pay so much for a University of Michingan chair, as that is probably a cheap chinese ripoff. However, an authintic University of Michigan chair would probably fetch a much better price.
Mom and I are beginning to engage in some serious worry about you.
That's interesting idea. Do you still remember the dull and boring work in Boise? Em, that sounds like generations ago. :-))
BTW, it's said that a restaurant named Gordon Ramsay in Lodon is among top 10 in the world. And St. John is said to be great for carnival. You are living so close to those great restaurants. How lucky!
