I'm Here.

There were some comments asking why I'm not writing anything, and today an old friend wrote to me, concerned that something might have happened to me. So I suppose I should say: I'm ok. I'm just kind of preoccupied with school, much of which I think wouldn't be that interesting to almost anyone. (The ample proof of this is written on peoples' faces when I first tell them I'm studying econometrics.) But there really are always interesting things that happen, it's only a matter of me paying more active attention to them. So I'll try, for my own benefit as much as anything.
